Q17. Mieshia: What do you remember most about your mother?

Me: During her last days, she suffered from severe Dementia. We had zero forms of communication. She said nothing! It was so severe that the Doctor felt that treating her for any physical ailment was repairing a body with a broken mind. It would be like doing bodywork on a car with an unrepairable engine.  On her dying bed, I prayed with her. And at the end of the prayer, she said, “AMEN!” That meant, “So be it!” Everyone in the room looked at each other in amazement.
